Charles Hatchett Award
Working in conjunction with The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, Beta manages and organises the annual prize for the best paper on the science and technology of niobium and its alloys. The award, sponsored by ‘Companhia Brasileira de Metalurgia e Mineração’, has been in existence for over 30 years.
