LIFE + UK National Contact Point
Defra have appointed Beta as the UK's source of advice and assistance for the European Commission (EC) funded LIFE + Programme.

As part of a consortium contracted by the Technology Strategy Board, Beta provides expert advice and support on how to access Framework 7 funding.

Framework Programme 7 Support to Food Standards Agency Stakeholders
Beta Technology is contracted by the FSA to provide National Contact Point services under the Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Biotechnology theme within Framework Programme 7.

Appointed by DEFRA, Beta Technology is the Framework Programme 7 National Contact Point for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Biotechnology and Environment.

Environmental Technologies Verification Scheme
It is well established that technology verification schemes can support the acceptance of novel environmental technologies. 
| | Charles Hatchett Award for Niobium Research and Development
Working in conjunction with The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, Beta manages and organises the annual prize for the best paper on the science and technology of niobium and its alloys.

Early Nutrition and Mental Performance in Children
NUTRIMENTHE - Beta is responsible for leading the dissemination and training activity under this EC funded project to study the effect of early nutrition on the mental development of children.

As part of 'Success Doncaster', Beta is responsible for managing and delivering the Business Buddies support programme for existing businesses based in and around Doncaster.

Mentoring Women Entrepreneurs
The WE-Mentor project brings together mentors from the UK, Germany, Brussels and Italy to support women entrepreneurs in Romania, Turkey, Israel and India.
